The rise in social media around the globe established itself as a potent platform by offering individuals and movements a platform to generate awareness and let them participate in decision making weather social or political around the world. The concept of boundaries have faded away and we are now able to give our say towards anything happening around the world.

This generation is called Generation Z. They emerged as a generation unafraid to take a stand, with a notable propensity to boycott products, companies, or even entire countries based on political, social, or environmental concerns. In the recent past and at present we have many examples regarding many international issues like climate change and many others. They have the ability to use multiple social platforms to raise their voices and concerns. Their voices were heard and they were successful in making change in many cases by developing international consensus.

We have the largest youth generation in history – about half of the global population is under age 30. The majority of youth resides in economically disadvantaged nations.
